ASLM 2014 Young Professionals Profile of Eke Ofuche
The African Society for Laboratory Medicine (ASLM) is an international, pan-African, not-for-profit organization inaugurated in 2011 and based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The core functions of ASLM are the provision of technical assistance in the areas of laboratory accreditation, training, certification, professional networking, and research across the African continent.
As part of efforts to promote the interest and participation of young and upcoming laboratory professionals in ASLM activities, the body developed a strategy to recognize outstanding young laboratory professionals as part of activities for the 2nd international conference of the African Society for Laboratory Medicine tagged ASLM2014.
It was in this regard that ASLM developed interview profile of some young scientists and health professionals for inclusion on the ASLM2014 website and disseminated through ASLM social media and communications outlets. ASLM created an online platform to highlight these outstanding young professionals through a Young Professionals Profile page on the ASLM2014 webportal (www.ASLM2014.org).
Among the outstanding young professionals recognized and included in the interview profile is APIN’s Mr Eke Ofuche, the Senior Technical Advisor – Laboratory Services. The full interview profile can be assessed through the ASLM web link below.
