Nigeria Implementation Science Alliance (NISA) – Award
NISA is a collaborative relation between the communities of Implementing Partners in Nigeria. NISA was formed to tackle major challenges to implementing evidence-based interventions which include poor dissemination and adoption by the communities where they are needed. It is committed to identifying, understanding, measuring and sharing implementation science work done in Nigeria. The 2nd Annual Implementation science conference organized by NISA was held recently in Abuja. Implementation Science Investigators were allowed to share new evidence through oral and poster presentations with implementers and policy makers, including state and federal agency officials as well as other stakeholders. One of the poster presentations; Clinical symptoms as predictor of adherence by Juliet et al from APIN emerged winner of the NISA 2016 Best Poster Award. Congratulations to APIN, a big thank you and congratulations to Juliet.
