16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence

The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-based Violence (GBV) is marked globally from November 25th (the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women) to December 10 (International Human Rights Day). This year, the theme is “Orange the world: End violence against women now!” with the slogan ”Her story is Our Story. This year, stakeholders, governments and decision makers are drawing attention to the need for an enabling environment where victims and survivors of GBV are empowered to speak out and share their stories so that they can get the support and help that they need. APIN will join the rest of the world to raise our voice against all forms of violence against people through a series of events across our state locations, starting with a Webinar. Details of the Webinar to follow shortly.
