APIN Talks Cervical Cancer with FOMWAN

As part of our efforts to create awareness of Cervical Cancer, the staff of our Abuja Headquarters office held a sensitization meeting with members of the Federation of Muslim Women Association of Nigeria (FOMWAN) from various area councils in Abuja. The discussion covered factors that increase the risk of cervical cancer, prevention, care & treatment of cervical cancer. Dr. Oluseye Ajayi (Project Manager, ANC-Fever project) encouraged the participants to get screened and encourage their members to do the same. APIN has identified and screened at least 20,992 women in selected health facilities across seven states.
