Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Training

The second batch of the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) basics training for state clinical mentors from Benue, Nassarawa, FCT & Katsina States, has been completed.

The training was jointly organized by the U.S Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) through the U.S President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), APIN Public Health Initiatives, Public Health Information, Surveillance Solutions, and Systems (PHIS3) and the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria (IHVN).

The event was opened by APIN’s Associate Director of Health Systems Strengthening (HSS), Dr Chukwuemeka Ibilibor on behalf of our CEO, Dr Prosper Okonkwo, and the training proper was facilitated by CQI coordinators from APIN, PHIS3 and IHVN.

With only two more batches of the training to go, we eagerly anticipate an improvement in the quality of health service delivery in these states, as a result of this training.
