For the last week, we have enjoyed the presence of our Board Chairman, Dr Oluwole Odutolu. Dr Odutolu was the first Country Director of the Harvard T.H Chan School of Public Health project, AIDS Prevention Initiative in Nigeria, a precursor to what is now APIN Public Health Initiatives.

It was exciting to show him our growth in the last few years. We led him on a tour of our premises and updated him on several of our new projects and initiatives including the Public Health Information, Surveillance Solutions, and Systems (PHIS3) project, the RELIANCE laboratory project and our recent for-profit venture, APIN Medical Laboratory & Diagnostics.

We are thankful for his leadership, guidance and wise counsel which have been instrumental to establishing APIN in the Nigerian public health space.
