APIN Wins Ministerial Award From The Federal Ministry of Women Affairs!

We are pleased to share that APIN Public Health Initiatives received a Ministerial Award for our support to our long-time partner, the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs, Nigeria and our contributions to the ongoing fight to end Gender-Based Violence in Nigeria.

The award was presented by the Honourable Minister of Women Affairs, Barrister Uju Kennedy Ohanenye at the 23rd National Council on Women Affairs which took place in Calabar, Cross River State. Our Gender Focal person, Mrs Bola Thompson received the award on APIN’s behalf.

We appreciate the Honourable Minister and staff of FWASD and thank them for this recognition. We look forward to many more years of partnership and collaboration to strengthen the Gender programme in the country.
