We are pleased to announce that out of more than 300 nominees, our Chief Executive Officer, Dr Prosper Okonkwo has won the 2023 BudgIT Active Citizens Award for Health Activism

The Active Citizens Award was first held in 2022 and is the BudgIT Foundation’s unique way of recognizing and shining a spotlight on individuals and organizations doing ground-breaking humanitarian work in Nigeria’s civic space. This year’s award, themed ‘Trailblazers of Change: Pioneering Solutions, Shaping the Future, featured two new categories¾ the Climate Change Activism and the Health Activism Award, which our CEO received.

He is the pioneer recipient of the Health Activism Award and joins eight other category winners as BudgIT’s 2023 Trailblazers.
