APIN Hosts Maiden Edition Of Benue State Clinical Mentors Retreat

APIN hosted the maiden edition of the Benue State Clinical Mentors Retreat themed “Strengthening the National Clinical Mentorship Programme (NCMP) in Benue State.

Since its launch in 2021, the NCMP has helped to build and enhance relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the HIV care continuum; provide needs-based, responsive coaching, mentorship and modelling of best practices to health workers at the facility and most importantly, improved health outcomes for clients accessing HIV services at our supported facilities.

In Benue State, we have a total of 21 clinical mentors who support 261 supported sites. The retreat brought all of them together, along with stakeholders from the Benue State Ministry of Health, State Agency for the Control of AIDS (BENSACA) and the State Hospital Management Board, to build on the gains recorded so far and strategize for even greater successes in the future.
