Our health systems strengthening directorate brought together all the government health stakeholders in Oyo state including the Honourable commissioner for Health, Permanent secretaries, Executive secretaries, Directors, Chief Medical Directors and the ART coordinators of tertiary facilities, for a 5-day leadership and program management retreat facilitated by reputable experts.

Beyond supporting our government stakeholders to deliver quality HIV services to People Living with HIV at the community and health facility levels, we want to ensure that they have the knowledge and skills needed to efficiently manage and sustain the HIV program

The Newly Appointed Oyo State Commissioner for Health, while giving her opening remarks at the training, appreciated APIN for continuously supporting the state and for organizing such a training that is targeted towards the key state health actors in Oyo state. She ended with an admonishment to the participants to ensure that the knowledge acquired from the training is stepped down to their subordinates at their various offices.
