We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Professor Oladapo Shittu as our new Board Chairman! Prof. Shittu is a renowned Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Ahmadu Bello Teaching Hospital, Zaria, Kaduna State. He is also the Provost of the College of Medicine, Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo – Benue State and a visiting Professor at Bingham University and Teaching Hospital, Jos, Plateau State. Prof. Shittu brings to us over 40 years of experience, visionary leadership, and an unwavering passion for public health that promises to propel APIN to even greater heights.

As we celebrate our new Board Chairman, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our immediate past Board Chairman, Dr. Oluwole Odutolu for his remarkable dedication and outstanding contributions, which have laid a solid foundation for our continued success. We are excited to embark on this new chapter, working with Prof. Shittu and our esteemed board, to chart a bold and transformative course for the future of public health in Nigeria and Africa!
