The Nigeria Implementation Science Alliance (NISA) just completed its 2-day conference themed “Sustainability of Programs and Research”. APIN was one of the sponsors and several of our staff attended and participated in multiple capacities.

Our Deputy CEO (Programs), Dr. Jay Osis Samuels served as the moderator for the panel discussion on “Taking Ownership: Sustainability of PEPFAR Programs”. Our staff from project states submitted abstracts and also attended the conference. Dr Oluseye Ajayi, the Project Manager for our ANC-Fever project presented an abstract on our experience implementing the project and received the prestigious Best Abstract Gold Award for his abstract!
