JOSHUA ADI APAKE

Associate Director – Finance

A Chartered Accountant with over 22 years of experience, he leads the Finance and Accounting functions of APIN’s headquarters and regional offices, ensuring strict adherence to national and international financial & accounting policies and donor requirements. He is directly responsible for preparing all monthly, quarterly and annual donor financial reports and provides strategic support for the development of APIN’s annual operational plans. In addition, he provides up-to-date financial information and forecasts to help guide the decision-making processes of the Senior Management team and the Board of Trustees. He earned his Higher National Diploma in Accounting from Kaduna Polytechnic in 1999 and went on to acquire a Master’s degree in Public Sector Accounting from Nasarawa State University in 2012. Before joining APIN, he honed his expertise in Financial Analysis and Not-For-Profit Accounting working with Ifeanyi Opara and Co. Chartered Accountants, and then with the APIN Centre at Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH). He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). He spends most of his leisure time listening to music and watching football.
