Our Story

APIN Public Health Initiatives is a leading non-governmental public health organisation in Nigeria dedicated to strengthening health systems, driving evidence-based disease control, and building resilient health delivery networks across Africa.
Founded as a research initiative in 2001, APIN has evolved over twenty-five years into an autonomous, national public health authority. We partner with federal and state governments, international donors, and local communities to deliver integrated care across HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, Malaria, Maternal, Newborn & Child Health (MNCH), Laboratory Infrastructure, and Digital Health Innovations.
