Pharm. Matthew Obi is a pharmacist with over 20 years of leadership experience in the public health, manufacturing and healthcare sectors and is currently the Co-founder/CEO of Riverside Healthcare Ltd. In addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with first class honours and a Master’s degree in Pharmacy Administration, both from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, he also holds Masters Degrees in Public Health from the University of London and Business Administration (Marketing) from Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Enugu, as well as certificates in Pharmaceutical Policy Analysis and Pharmacoeconomics from Utrecht University in the Netherlands. Pharm. Azoji has held several positions in the healthcare industry and has served on the boards of several associations and organizations within and outside Nigeria. He was the Managing Director / CEO of the prestigious Neimeth International Pharmaceuticals Plc., where he led the organization to achieve a 365% growth in share price within one year. He is a Fellow and Member of numerous pharmaceutical and other professional organizations both in Nigeria and internationally; and has received several awards including the National Productivity Order of Merit Award (NPOM) conferred by former President Muhammadu Buhari in 2022.
